Rides down Ridgecrest Drive and Southeast Center Street are a little smoother these days.
Barnhill Contracting of Princeton has completed the resurfacing job, according to Town Manager Jammie Royall.
The project cost approximately $73,000 and was funded by Powell Aid.
Royall said town officials have been reviewing other potential sources for street improvements since the town receives two annual Powell Aid payments that total approximately $120,000 a year. In-house personnel repair pot holes and other small projects.
The town has 26 miles of paved streets.
