A probation violator faces felony drug charges after his arrest Nov. 28.
Wayne County deputies were dispatched to a convenience store on N.C. Highway 117 South after a caller reported a suspicious person.
When authorities arrived, officers say they observed and made contact with 24-year-old Tyler Chase Corser, homeless, inside a vehicle. Further investigation revealed Corser had a probation violation and he was immediately arrested.
Deputies say they also discovered illegal drugs on Corser and took him to the Wayne County Magistrate’s Office. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor probation violation.
Corser was booked under an $8,500 secured bond.
