Vendor-Craft Fair is Sept. 18

The Spring Creek Baptist Church Vendor-Craft Fair is Sept. 18 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The event will be held outside.

The registration fee for vendors is $20 for a 10x10 space.

BBQ sale Saturday

Smith Chapel United Methodist Church is hosting a barbecue supper, but has canceled the harvest sale on Sept. 18.

Supper is from 4-7 p.m. and tickets are $10. Patrons may pick up plates at drive-thru only. The fellowship hall is closed. 

Pork and chicken dinner
Sept. 25

Mount Olive VFW 9959 is selling barbecue pork or chicken plates Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. until the food runs out.

Plates are $9.

It’s the civic organization’s semi-annual fundraiser for community programs and its building fund.

B3 Golf Tournament is Saturday

The 9th annual B3 Golf Tournament, sponsored by Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, is Sept. 18 at Timberlake Golf Course.

The fee is $40 per person or $200 per team.

Play begins at 9 a.m. and lunch will be provided.

Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place teams. Golfers can also compete for closest-to-the-pin and longest drive.

Harvest Market set
for October

Odom Milling Co. is playing host to a Harvest Market on Oct. 17 at Claridge Ridge Nursery.

The event runs from 2-7 p.m.

Activities, food, vendors and one-day-only surprises await market-goers.

Outlaw Foundation tourney Oct. 8

The 8th annual Outlaw Foundation Golf Tournament is Oct. 8 at the Duplin Country Club in Kenansville.

The fees are $85 per person and $340 per team.

Flight times for the four-man superball event are 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Proceeds benefit families who are fighting cancer.
