At the age of 93, Sister Alma Dail Holloman passed from this life into the spirit world early Wednesday morning, July 7, 2021.
This long time resident of Fayetteville was a native of northern Duplin County, and was one of two daughters of the late Perry and Mary Dail.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Earl Holloman; two of her three sons, Nathan Holloman and Norman “Nick” Holloman; and two daughters-in-law, Jennifer Holloman and Karen Holloman.
Sister Holloman is survived by a son, Allan Holloman of Graysonville, Maryland; a sister, Ruth Dail Farmer of New Bern; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; six nieces; nephew; her church family; and many friends.
Visitation will be at Tyndall Funeral Home on Saturday, July 17, from noon until 1 p.m.. Funeral services will follow in the Tyndall Chapel, with burial immediately afterward at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Holloman was a member of the 1947 graduating class of B. F. Grady High School. She had been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1946, and worshiped at Fayetteville’s First Ward.
