CALYPSO — North Duplin officials have released the schedule for the eastern regional championship series against East Columbus in the 2023 N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 1A softball playoffs.

Game one in the best-of-three series is Tuesday at North Duplin, the three-time defending Carolina 1A champion.

East Columbus, the Waccamaw 1A-2A champion, will play host to game two Thursday.

North Duplin (21-2 overall) will host the “if necessary” game Saturday.

All game times start at 7 p.m.

The regional winner faces the South Stokes-Union Academy winner in the state championship series. A site and game times have not been determined by the NCHSAA.
