Charges stemming from separate incidents have been filed by investigators with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office against two La Grange men.
Colby Warren, 26, of 101 Dana Drive was arrested on charges of possession of heroin, driving while impaired and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers with the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team responded to a call on James Street in Goldsboro to assist in a probation/parole issue. They initiated a search of the suspect’s vehicle and uncovered the illegal narcotics, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office.
Warren’s unsecured bond was set at $6,000.
Michael Butts, 38, of 107 Ukraine Drive was already being held in the Wayne County Detention Center when officers served him with additional charges of breaking and entering and felony larceny.
Butts is accused of breaking into and stealing from a property in the Mar Mac area of Dudley.
Investigators said they recovered the property that had been stolen.
Butts received an additional bond of $5,000.
