Greetings from the Smith-Chapel community.

I would like to say a special thank you to the prayer warriors who lifted me up in prayer as I had back surgery on Feb. 4 at Duke Hospital in Raleigh. I’m grateful to say most of you knew I suffer from sciatica and nerve pain. Thank God for the hand of the doctor. The sciatica pain is gone! Hallelujah, praise, and thank you to my pastor, Elder Kenneth and Mother Vesta Freeman, Eldress Velma McKinley and my St. Luke Church family, Dr. Dorothy McDaniel, Evangelist Tachala Hood, Evangelist Sadie Watson, Evangelist Vondra McLain, my daughter, Pastor Dante and Dr. Schenita Randolph and to my awesome nurse, Evangelist Mary Ward, and so many more I could name but I’m not going to do it and you know who you are.

Thank you for the many phone calls and text messages. Thank you to Diane West and to her sister, Jean, for relieving Diane. Thank you to my doctor, Dr. Stephanie McKeithan at Goldsboro Pain Center.
