Mount Olive woman found in car passed out from drugs


An investigation that started in February led to the arrest of a Mount Olive woman.

According to the Mount Olive Police Department, Patrolman Eduardo Ramirez and Detective Sgt. Donald Gregory responded to a call Feb. 24 about an unresponsive female inside her vehicle in the Walmart parking lot area.

The first officer who arrived on the scene woke up the subject, Krsytyna Vannier.

During further investigation, probable cause was established and officers searched Vannier’s vehicle for illegal contraband. Police say they seized fentanyl and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Vannier was released.

A warrant for Vannier was obtained March 19. She was arrested and charged with one felony count of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

Vannier received a $1,000 secured bond.
