Love Day Celebration Sunday at St. Luke

On Sunday at 11 a.m., St. Luke Church of Christ, 636 Waller Road, will hold a Love Day Celebration with music by the New Beginning Gospel Choir, a Love Day tribute by Trustee Linda Moore and message by the pastor Elder Kenneth Freeman. At 3 p.m., Elder Kenneth Robinson and Holly Hill Church Choir, ushers and congregation of La Grange will be there.

Holy Temple UHC on Parker Street in Calypso will show love to their pastor Elder Scotty Rogers in an appreciation service Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. with special guest Elder Kenneth Freeman, the St. Luke Church Choir, ushers and congregation rendering the service. At 3 p.m., Dr. Christopher Brown and Holy Tabernacle of Roseboro will render the service.

Pleasant Union Church of Christ, U.S. 13, Grantham, will celebrate its 17th anniversary at 11 a.m. Sunday. Special guest Apostle Carry Gathers will deliver the message. Music will be by the Goshen Disciple Church Senior Choir. The pastor Elder Shirley Howard invites all family and friends to come and help celebrate Pleasant Union’s 17th anniversary.

Central Heights FWB Church, Goldsboro, will sponsor a Rainbow Tea Saturday at 2 p.m. On March 17 at 11 a.m., Family and Friends Day will be held. Pastor Elder Isaac Burnett invites you to attend.

The House of Prayer on Juniper Road, Faison, will continue an appreciation service for Pastor Janice Williams Sunday at 7:30 p.m. when Pastor Carl Jones of Durham renders the service. Apostle Lester Coward of Dudley will deliver the word. On Feb. 24, the celebration will conclude with speaker Dr. Everlena Oliver of St. Jude Church, Warsaw.

Saint James Church of Christ located on Breazeale Avenue will hold A Love Day celebration Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. with the pastor Elder Ernest Watson Sr. delivering the message at 3:30 p.m.

Goldsboro-Raleigh Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, will celebrate Founder’s Day Saturday at 11 a.m. The Bishop Elder Robert Hood and Vice Bishop Elect Rodney Parker invite you to come and celebrate Founder’s Day.

New Life Worship Center invites you to a fellowship service on March 15 at 7:30 p.m. with special guest Minister Earl Harvey delivering the message and music by Earl’s Musical Ministry and the Mighty Warriors of Warsaw. Pastor Janice Williams invites you to attend.

Mark your calendar and save the date of March 10 at 11 a.m. which will be Friends and Family Day. Special guests will be Elder Dante Randolph and the Grace Park Praise Team of Durham.
