Greetings from the Wesley Smith Chapel community!
Our hearts, sympathy and prayers are with the family of Granger Ray Martin of Dunn who died on Thursday morning. He was the son of the late George and Pennie Martin.
A graveside service was held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Martin Cemetery off of N.C. Highway 55 in Mount Olive. Garris Funeral Home of Mount Olive assisted the family.
Our prayers, sympathy and love are also with the family of E.C. Nixon, the brother of Lillie N. Ward of Mount Olive. Nixon died Friday morning in Four Oaks. He was a member of Hickory Grove Church where Dr. Hattie Lofton was the assistant pastor.
Please keep Lillie Nixon Ward in your prayers. She is a longtime member of St. Luke Church.

My thought for this week: When you are alone, mind your thoughts. When you are with your friends, mind your tongues. When you are angry, mind your temper. When you are with a group, mind your behavior. When you are in trouble, mind your emotions. When God starts blessing you, mind your ego. Have a blessed, safe, peaceful, great weekend.
