A Dudley man is facing weapon and drug charges after getting arrested during a traffic stop Aug. 15.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they stopped 24-year-old Jacoby Malik Aldridge, of 3332 U.S. Highway 117 Alternate, after he attempted to throw marijuana out of his vehicle’s window in the southern portion of Wayne County.
During a search of Aldridge’s vehicle, deputies say they recovered a large amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a handgun and seized an undisclosed amount of cash.
Aldridge was charged with felony maintaining a vehicle for keeping and selling a controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed weapon.
His secured bond was set at $6,500.
