Revival Wednesday at Greater St. Luke

Greater St. Luke UHCA, 310 W. South St., Rose Hill, will hold its spring revival Wednesday through Friday, March 11-13, at 7:30 each night. There will be different messengers each evening, accompanied by their choir, ushers and congregation. Willie E. Lewis, the pastor of Pentecostal UHCA in Goldsboro, will lead the service Wednesday. Elder Michael Reid, the pastor of Pearsall Chapel UHCA of Kenansville, will lead the service Thursday; Bishop Devin C. Pickett Sr., vice president and pastor of St. John UHCA in Burgaw and the St. Delight UHCA in La Grange, will lead the service Friday. The pastor of Greater St. Luke is District Elder Anthony Flow.

Bach theology service Sunday

Outlaw’s Bridge Universalist Church, 4408 N.C. Highway 111 N., Seven Springs, will host “The Theology of Johann Sebastian Bach” by Jimmy Merritt at its 11 a.m. service Sunday. On Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m., the church will host a live music concert featuring Brandon Banks on piano performing the music of George Winston from Windham Hill Records. Rev. Claudia M. Frost is pastor of the church.

Pancake supper, auction March 28

The Women of the Hood’s Grove Baptist WMU will hold a pancake and sausage supper and auction on March 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Hood’s Grove Baptist Church for a donation. Proceeds will go toward the church’s missions. The church is located at 677 Hood’s Grove Church Road, Newton Grove NC 28977. For more information, call 919 894-5977.
