‘Sight of the Soul...’ Sunday

Outlaw’s Bridge Universalist Church, 4408 N.C. Highway 111 N., Seven Springs, will present “Sight of the Soul & the Democratic Process” by Rev. Claudia M. Frost at 11 a.m. Sunday. This is the last in the church’s sermon series on the seven Unitarian Universalist Principles with the fifth principle as the right of conscience and use of the democratic process within congregations and society at large.

Church anniversary, communion Sunday

Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 3414 Summerlin Road, will celebrate its anniversary and host a communion service at 11 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. James A. Davis delivering the message. The church choir will render the music. At 3 p.m., the church’s 133rd anniversary service will be rendered by the Rev. Braxton Frederick and the Hines Chapel FWB Church family of Warsaw. The public is invited to attend these services.

Church groundbreaking Sunday

Spring Creek Baptist Church will be breaking ground on its new building Sunday. The community is invited to join the church for this event. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at noon after the church’s worship service at 11 a.m. and Sunday school at 10 a.m. The church is located at 3177 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs. Jason Watford is pastor of the church.
