The Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly National Day of Worship and Prayer gathering will be hosted by the Weep For the City Prayer Ministry at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2. Bishop Robert Deidro Hood invites representation of all GRDA Alliances pastors and local church congregations.

St. Paul Church of Christ, 4009 Lake Wilson Road in Wilson presents seven speakers on the seven deadly sins at 7 p.m. May 4 with the following powerful speakers; Deacon Thomas Dawson (lying tongue), Minister Mary Speight (hatred), Brother Fred Carter (busybody), Sister Varlene Leonard (envy), Sister Tanyanika Wiggins (sloth), Elder Hester Lucas (pride) and Elder Cynthia Cramel (witchcraft). The Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly presents the 52nd annual mid-year session April 24 through April 27 at Miracle Deliverance Center on 315 Lodge St. in Wilson. Fellowship service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 26. On Sunday, April 28th at 4 p.m. at King’s Revival Center at 103 Tuskegee St. in Wilson, a worship service will be held with Apostle Leory Hargett.

A revival service will be held at Ram in the Bush at 3732 S U.S. 117 in the Dudley community beside Brogden Middle School on April 29 through May 3 at 7:30 p.m. Service will have guest preacher Apostle Leroy Hargett.

St. James Church of Christ on Breazeale Avenue will celebrate its pastor Elder Ernest Watson Sr. and lady elect Evangelist Sadie Watson’s seventh pastoral anniversary at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 28.

One Accord will celebrate its sixth anniversary at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Olive. Doors open at 3 p.m., admission is free and for everyone.

Homegoing celebration for Mother Lillie Lou Royal of Faison was held Saturday, April 20 at Holly Grove Church of Christ in Clinton. Mother Royal will surely be missed. Rest in peace, Mrs. Lillie Lou. I love you.

Homegoing celebration for Charlie Boy Armwood was held Saturday, April 20 at Payne Temple Church in Mount Olive.
