Response remains slow to fill the town’s finance officer position.
According to Mount Olive Town Manager Jammie Royall, two applicants have shown interest. The deadline to apply is Feb. 1.
The position calls for a bachelor’s degree in accounting, five or more years related work experience and three years supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA and local government work experience is preferred.
