Our prayers, sympathy and love are with the family of Mrs. Joyce Faison, who was 81 when she died Sunday, Aug. 18, at Sampson Memorial Hospital in Clinton. A homegoing celebration was held at noon on Friday at Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Faison, with a burial following in the Cobb Cemetery in Faison. Joyce leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Mondrick “Little Bud” Faison of the home; her daughter, Percilla Faison; and one son, Freeman Faison Jr. of Wilson. Please keep the Faison family in your prayers. Garris Funeral Home handled the service.
